The R5 delivers 5.5 N·m of peak torque from a direct-drive servo motor, a significant step up from gear- and belt-driven wheels in the same price range. The 15-bit encoder provides smooth, detailed force feedback with zero dead zone.

The R5 bundle includes: R5 DD wheelbase, ES steering wheel (11-inch, microfiber leather, 22 buttons, 10 RGB LEDs), SR-P Lite pedals (Hall sensor, adjustable), table clamp, power adapter, USB cable, toolkit, user manual, and warranty card.

Yes. The SR-P Lite pedals support the optional Clutch Pedal ($55 CAD) and Performance Kit ($45 CAD) for adjustable brake feel. The R5 base is compatible with all MOZA steering wheels via the quick release system, and the ES wheel supports the Formula Wheel Mod ($59 CAD) and 12-inch Round Wheel Mod ($99 CAD) for style-switching.

The R5 uses MOZA's NexGen 4.0 Force Feedback algorithm with iRacing 360Hz mode, pre-configured driving modes (GT, Formula, Drift, Rally), custom profiles, and button mapping via MOZA Pit House. One-click firmware updates are supported for all connected devices.

The included table clamp supports desks up to 50mm thick and is designed to handle the R5's 5.5 N·m torque. For permanent setups, the base has 4-hole bottom mounting compatible with most sim racing cockpits and wheel stands.

Yes. The R5 base supports third-party steering wheels with D1 SPEC specification quick release. However, paddle and button functionality requires the wheel to connect separately to the PC. The actual inertia ratio of third-party wheels must be set in MOZA Pit House for hands-off protection to work properly.
