FAQs

What is the intelligent downshift throttle blip system?

The HGP Shifter features a patented downshift throttle blip system that automatically matches revs during downshifts for smoother gear changes. It is fully optional and can be enabled, disabled, or customized (blip duration, intensity) via MOZA Pit House software.

Can I swap the shift knob?

Yes. The HGP uses a standard thread pattern compatible with most aftermarket shift knobs. Simply unscrew the stock knob and replace it with your preferred option.

Is the HGP Shifter compatible with Xbox?

The HGP connects to PC via USB. Xbox compatibility requires connection through a compatible MOZA wheelbase (such as the R3) via the RJ11 cable — a startup sequence may be needed for consistent recognition.

How do I mount the HGP Shifter?

The HGP is designed for aluminum profile rigs and cockpits with M6 threaded holes. For desktop setups, the MOZA Universal Mounting Plate (sold separately) is required. A dedicated table clamp is also available.

Does the HGP Shifter require maintenance?

No. The non-contact 15-bit angle sensor eliminates mechanical wear, making the HGP maintenance-free under normal use.
