FAQs

What's the difference between the HGP and SGP shifters?

The HGP is a 7+R H-pattern shifter with a patented downshift throttle blip system. The SGP is a sequential shifter (push forward / pull back) with an adjustable damper, RGB buttons, and height adjustment. Choose the HGP for traditional H-pattern shifting; choose the SGP for sequential racing disciplines like rally, drift, and touring cars.

Can I adjust the shifting resistance?

Yes. The SGP features an adjustable damper that lets you customize the shifting resistance to your preference — from light, rapid shifts to a heavier, more mechanical feel.

Are the buttons programmable?

Yes. Both backlit mechanical buttons are fully programmable in MOZA Pit House. You can assign functions like DRS, pit limiter, look left/right, or any keyboard mapping. RGB color (8 options) is also configured in Pit House.

Can I swap the shift knob?

Yes. The SGP uses an M12 × 1.5 thread pattern, an industry standard compatible with most aftermarket shift knobs.

How do I mount the SGP Shifter?

The SGP supports both forward and reverse mounting orientations. It mounts to aluminum profile rigs and cockpits. For desktop setups, the MOZA Universal Mounting Plate (sold separately) is required.
