I am contacting you regarding several issues with my MOZA R3 Wheel Base, mainly related to Force Feedback.
My equipment and software:
MOZA R3 Wheel Base
MOZA ES Steering Wheel
MOZA SR-P Lite Pedals
MOZA Pit House version 1.4.1.13
Assetto Corsa via Content Manager
Description of the problem:
Initially, I experienced problems with the Force Feedback while drifting in Assetto Corsa. The steering wheel would return towards the centre, but it would not automatically countersteer or follow the car's movement during a drift.
The situation then became worse. The Force Feedback suddenly stopped working completely. The steering wheel became extremely light, with practically no resistance while driving.
The strange thing is that the MOZA Pit House software still detects my R3 Wheel Base and shows that it is connected normally.
FFB Torque Scale issue:
I also checked the FFB Torque Curve in MOZA Pit House. The scale showed:
Maximum Torque: approximately 3.9 Nm
Real-time Torque: approximately 0.600 Nm
Despite these readings, I could barely feel any Force Feedback through the steering wheel.
I would like to know whether these readings are normal and whether they indicate that the wheelbase is receiving an FFB signal but is not correctly applying the force.
Troubleshooting already performed:
Restarted MOZA Pit House.
Performed a Wheelbase Soft Restart.
Checked and adjusted the Force Feedback settings.
Checked the Force Feedback settings in Assetto Corsa Content Manager.
Enabled the Experimental Gyroscopic Effect in Assetto Corsa.
Checked the wheelbase connection and device recognition.
I also experienced an issue with my SR-P Lite throttle pedal. It was detected correctly in MOZA Pit House but was not responding in Content Manager. I managed to resolve this by configuring the throttle axis again.
An important detail:
The Force Feedback was working normally the previous evening, but the following day it stopped working. I would like to know whether this could be related to a recent MOZA Pit House update or firmware update.
Could you please help me with the following questions?
Why has my R3 Wheel Base stopped providing normal Force Feedback?
Are there any known Force Feedback issues with Pit House version 1.4.1.13 or the latest firmware?
What does the Real-time Torque reading of approximately 0.600 Nm mean when the steering wheel has almost no physical resistance?
Is a firmware rollback recommended, or is there another way to restore normal Force Feedback?
Could you provide the recommended settings for Assetto Corsa, especially for realistic self-steering and countersteering during drifting?
I would appreciate technical assistance in identifying and resolving this issue. I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, but the problem remains unresolved.
