I would like to better understand how the Wheel Spring Strength effect is currently implemented.
When set to 100%, the centering force still feels significantly lighter than expected, especially on higher-torque wheel bases. Could you clarify:
Is the spring effect limited by software or by a percentage of the wheel base's available torque?
Does the current implementation use a linear spring model?
Is there a technical limitation preventing stronger centering forces?
Does the effect rely on DirectInput spring forces or is it generated directly by Pit House?
Are there any plans to allow users to adjust the spring curve or increase the effect strength beyond the current limit?
I would also like to suggest two features that could significantly improve the experience in games that do not support Force Feedback:
Spring Curve Editor: Allow users to customize how the centering force builds up from the center to the steering lock. Linear, progressive, or fully customizable curves would give users much more control over the steering feel.
Dynamic Centering Force: Allow the wheel to apply a progressively stronger centering force as the steering angle increases, creating a more natural and realistic steering weight even when no FFB data is available from the game.
I believe these features could help MOZA provide a better experience not only in simulation titles, but also in major mainstream games that have limited or no Force Feedback support. With highly anticipated releases such as GTA VI expected to attract a massive player base, having advanced non-FFB steering options could become a valuable advantage for MOZA users and further strengthen the ecosystem for a wider audience.

Pit House provides two spring force settings: Wheel Spring Strength and Game Spring.
Wheel Spring Strength applies a game-independent centering force. You can clearly feel the change when adjusting it, even without launching a game.
Game Spring controls the strength of the centering force sent to the wheelbase by the game. However, not every game supports this effect, so adjusting this setting will have no impact in unsupported games.
As you mentioned, enhanced Spring force is mainly useful for games without force feedback support, such as GTA V. This is not currently a high-priority area for us, as our main focus is improving force feedback for racing simulators. Nevertheless, we will record your request and may consider supporting these features in the future when development resources become available.

I understand very well what your focus are. I know I'm reaching limits here and what I'm trying to tell you guys is that I'm currently playing GTA V because VI hasn't come out yet, but when it does, Moza R5 will give me a lot of joy even without beeing that main focus.
The ideal configuration of Wheel Spring Strength is to add more weight after reaching some curves to feel like havier feeling, maybe 2x more is the best

Hi Moza, I want to second the above comment, please add support for non-sim racing titles, these controls would be so fun for something like Burnout Paradise, GTA games, really any game with cars in it. I would love to be able to switch from mouse/keyboard to my R5 mid game when I get in a car.

I’d like to make a few corrections to my previous message.
What I actually want is simply a heavier steering feel that simulates the weight of a real power steering system. I currently play GTA V with a Moza R5 because I have a project that allows me to play any console or PC game (including GTA VI) using the Moza R5.
At the moment, the steering still feels very light, even with 100% Wheel Spring Strength and 500% Inertia. If the steering could be made heavy enough that I need to use one arm to turn the wheel instead of just two fingers, that would be the ideal feel for me.
