We are currently experiencing an issue with one of the
newer versions of Moza Pit House that is becoming increasingly important for
our operations.
After a full computer reinstallation, the presets that
were previously configured on the steering wheel and wheelbase are being reset
to Moza’s default presets. This means that our custom presets are lost and need
to be manually restored after each update or installation.
For commercial use, this is a significant operational
challenge. We install and maintain racing simulators across multiple locations
throughout Europe, and as we continue to grow, this process needs to be
automated. Manually reconfiguring presets on every simulator is not scalable
and creates unnecessary complexity for our installation and support teams.
We would like to ask whether there is a way to
automatically apply or load a specific preset via a command, script,
configuration file, or through the Moza SDK. This would allow us to automate
the installation and configuration of Moza hardware, making the process
scalable and suitable for our expanding network of race centers.
If this functionality is already available in Pit
House or in the SDK, we would appreciate it if you could provide an example or
documentation showing how this can be implemented.
We hope you understand the urgency and importance of
this feature for commercial use. Reliable and automated preset configuration is a key
requirement for our race centers and plays an important role in keeping our
installations consistent and maintainable at scale.
