Is VR motion compensation planned for the MOZA HMA150 motion system?

I realize the HMA150 is early in its lifecycle and that expanding support for major racing and flight sims is the current priority. Still, VR motion compensation is a key feature for VR sim racers and flight sims, and I’d like to confirm whether it’s on MOZA’s development roadmap. Even a general “planned,” “under consideration,” or “not currently scheduled” would help set expectations for VR users evaluating the system.

Thanks for raising this. We understand that VR motion compensation is an important part of the experience for VR racers and pilots, and a key consideration when choosing a motion platform.

We can confirm that VR motion compensation for the HMA150 is in development and will be included in the next Motion Manager software release. It will support PC VR games using OpenVR or OpenXR, including SteamVR-based setups.

The feature will be integrated into Motion Manager, with no external IMU, tracker, or third-party motion compensation software required. We’ll share  setup instructions, and release details in the update announcement.

Has any tried this with the built in pimax motion compensation?

I'm thinking of using that while we wait for the update?

That’s great news. I do use Pimax OpenXR runtime.  And really good news that no extra equipment is needed.  Thanks Chen.

Thank you Chongzi. This will be a 100% purchase once pimax is confirmed.

That's the plan.
With Pimax's native OpenXR runtime, SteamVR wouldn't be required for OpenXR games. We'll share confirmed headset compatibility when the update is released.

This is great news. This should work with pimax headset without steam vr then?

Same here. I have a Next Level Racing Seat mover, with built-in motion compensation and it works perfectly in VR. I would love to upgrade to the HMA150, but only when Moza has a solution that works for VR users.

I hope Moza can provide an answer. I have pre-ordered the HMA150, but didn't know motion compensation is not yet included. If they don't have a plan yet I would cancel my pre-order.
